1st Day of School

A nice sunday drive to the Peaks of Otter!

We passed a volunteer fire department in Forest and got our pictures taken for Pop-pop!

(I love this one, he looks patriotic)

When we got up to the peaks, much to our surprise, we found the Blue Ridge Parkway deer are very very friendly!! The were walking right next to us, coming up to people (like dogs), and SWIMMING ACROSS THE LAKE!! (it was soo amazing BUT my camera died!)

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

Orion is getting ready for his first day of school! (next Monday the 23rd)
Our nanny Nicole has been with us for 18 months and we are sad to see her go.
Her husband got a new job that takes them out of state so starting next week Orion will be going to school!! We are a little nervous but very excited for him. We will MISS YOU NICOLE!!

Snow, Valentines Day, Birthdays and MORE!

Alright so my updates seem to becoming about once a month... sorry for the delays!

Happy Valentines Day Orion and Brian!

We had a great Valentines Day, Orion loved his ABC Melissa and Doug puzzle and his animal magnets AND Daddy loved his new camping lantern!

We had a great weekend/week when Uncle David, Uncle Bobby, Hunter and Josh came down to Virginia, how we only ended up with 2 pictures I don't know... we need to get better at taking pictures!

It is so hard to believe we had 12 inches of snow (see snow day pics below) less than a week before these pictures were taken! Here we are camping in 80 degree weather! It was heaven!
