A nice sunday drive to the Peaks of Otter!
We passed a volunteer fire department in Forest and got our pictures taken for Pop-pop!
(I love this one, he looks patriotic)When we got up to the peaks, much to our surprise, we found the Blue Ridge Parkway deer are very very friendly!! The were walking right next to us, coming up to people (like dogs), and SWIMMING ACROSS THE LAKE!! (it was soo amazing BUT my camera died!)
